It’s been a few weeks since LMF hit centre stage at The Tigers ground and blew festivalgoers away and as we’ve dusted ourselves down and looked at the results, we have to admit, LMF 2014 was both incredibly exciting and a huge success.
That sunny weekend at the end of July was something of a whirlwind for us here at Tonic Towers. We had over 40 media attend over the two days, Capital Radio East Midlands were live broadcasting from the show and as well as art-directing photography both behind-the-scenes and in the pit, we had some very special charity guests to look after too.
But we wouldn’t have changed a thing (although our aching feet might have!). Our personal highlights included meeting the legendary Billy Ocean, getting kissed from the Union J lads and watching Diversity’s fantastic practices backstage – but nothing could beat the overwhelmingly positive coverage we achieved in the national and regional media.
While results are still coming in and we’re yet to analyse the PR value of the event, we’ve had excellent soundbites from media who came and LMF endorsements in titles including the Mail, Mirror, Express and Reveal as well as the Leicester Mercury, ITV Central and BBC Radio Leicester.
So, same time next year?
