The Tonic delivered a regional PR brief for Buzz Bingo, officially opening clubs across the country with a lead time of just three weeks.

VIP guests and and media attended the openings, with the ultimate goal of building the Buzz Bingo brand following a £40 million investment to switch from Gala Bingo.

As part of the regional PR strategy, The Tonic was responsible for inviting journalists to experience bingo at the clubs and maximising positive editorial coverage, delivering 100% coverage conversion.

  • 40 pieces of coverage were generated, of which 100% were positive and contained key messaging about Buzz Bingo. Its research into what bingo means to different regions in Britain was used as content to secure media interest.
